Katie wanted to do a morning session at the beach near their house for their family photos. Which a normal fall morning on the beach would be dreamy. However this particular morning the workers hadn’t finished the construction like they were supposed to the day before so instead there were huge bulldozers everywhere trying to finish up prepping for winter storms and the crazy surf it can cause. In addition to the location being a construction zone instead of a serene beach, the sun was a giant ball of fire that morning. Yikes! But we made a few adjustments and thankfully the friendly lifeguards let us squeeze in a little time near the shore and under the pier. Also bulldozers and a little boy are always a good mix! I love that Logan’s genuine smile and his goofy four year smile showed up during the session. Seriously that goofy four year old smile must be genetically ingrained in little boys. Shortly after this session I noticed my Alex has had it fixed on his face recently. That or Logan and him have been practicing their goofiness while playing together!
