My big news for 2015 is that I’ve decided to add birth photography and in hospital fresh 48 sessions! I absolutely treasure the images Candice of The Blissful Maven captured for us during the arrive of our little miss back in May. Then when one of my best friends asked me if I would photograph the delivery of her 2nd child I was so excited. I was ever so lucky to photograph her son’s entrance into the world and as a result, I fell madly in love with birth photography. I knew it was something I would love to be able to provide to my clients in addition to the sessions I already offer.
Because of the nature of births I will only be booking a limited amount of birth sessions each month. I will also only photograph births in south Los Angeles areas (South Bay, Long Beach, Lakewood, Downey, Bellflower, La Habra, Whittier) and Orange County (Los Alamitos, Cypress, Seal beach, Westminster, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar) in order to be able to make it to the birth in time!
As of now here is what will be included:
Birth – $600
A maximum of 6 hours of cover during labor, delivery and post delivery (additional hours of photography can be added for $75/hour)
Images captured in a photo journalistic/lifestyle approach
Digital downloads included, print products available for purchase (same as stated on pricing page for other types of sessions)
Fresh 48 – $300
30 minute session will take place at the hospital (or home if a home birth) within the first 48 hours
Images will be lifestyle photography, traditional newborn poses not included
Digital downloads included, print products available for purchase (same as stated on pricing page for other types of sessions)
If a birth session or Fresh 48 is booked with along with another session (ex. maternity or newborn) a discount will be applied
