In my family, my mom always finishes up “Happy birthday” with an additional chorus where she’ll sing “Put another candle on the birthday, you’re another year old today!”  And one year after this little fella’s newborn session he and his mommy and daddy were back for their family session and to document the big boy on his 1st birthday.  Time flies…can’t believe that I was getting to snuggle him up in between poses as an itty bitty newborn and then in what seems like no time at all here I am chasing him as he was toddling all over the place.  I also got to photograph him when he was 4 months old too.  I love that I watch kids grow before my lens and document how much they change for their families to treasure.

Oh and his overalls…seriously nothing better than a baby in overalls.  I’ve put all three of mine in the same pair of Osh Kosh B’Gosh ones when they were 6 months and my heart melts every time.
