Mommy and me mini sessions are my absolute favorite mini sessions.  Last year I wasn’t able to do them because I was about ready to pop and give birth.  So I was super excited to do them this year.  I had a birth photography session where the momma’s due date was just days after my the last scheduled date of the mommy and me minis.  I began to worry since in the month and a half leading up to it, I had 3 mommies go into labor all quite a bit early and I was worried that this birth was going to happen on one of the schedule mommy and me mini session dates.   All the moms were cool with having to possibly reschedule, because they are cool moms and totally understood that births are completely unpredictable and couldn’t be put on hold.  Even with crazy wind and overzealous landscaping causing location changes, everything worked out and we had a few fun evenings capturing images of all these gorgeous mommies and their babies.  And that birth client texted me that she was having contracts just as I was finishing up with the very last client on the last evening of the mommy and me minis.  She had the baby the very next day.  Wasn’t it so thoughtful of her to not go into labor until all the mommy and me minis were finished 😉
