We knew it’d be a long shot if I was actually going to be able to photograph Zaden’s birth since he was going to be born about 8 hours from me.  But Allison was due close to one of our annual trips up north and as the days got closer and still no little man yet we thought it might happen!  I got a call the night before we were leaving that she thought she might be in labor.  I contemplated packing as fast as possible, throwing the family in the car and leaving then but decided to wait until early the next morning.  Well Zaden didn’t want to wait and he made his grand entrance a few hours before we arrived in the bay area.  Although I would have absolutely loved to photograph his birth it was still awesome because I got to do his newborn session.  Allison is the craftiest person I know, check out her website to see what I mean.  For all of you that always ask where my baby girl’s camera or California onesie came from, Allison makes them.  Zaden’s room (but really their whole entire new house) was precisely decorate.  After having two girls, Allison of course put together her little guy’s nursery in such a cute way.  I’m sure there was plenty of A’s, Raiders and Star Wars gear in his closet.  Getting to watch my friends love on their newest addition and squeezing in some cuddle time with Mr. Zaden was worth the track up north.
